ASK ABOUT ASKJA

There is an abundant playfulness to the new Askja pendant series, which lets you mix six different colours of suspensions with four different glass screens. This makes the number of creative combinations almost endless. With Askja, the designers created a whole new coupling between the light’s components and turned the socket into a substantial and pivotal part of the design. Believe in Karma

Metal, glass and wood comprise the perfect trinity when one is aiming for a distinctively Nordic design expression. FOLD

FOLD

Fold a sheet of paper, place a bulb behind it - and you have a light. While the reality is not that simple, designer Henrik Bønnelycke wants the light to appear as if it is. Materials that patinate beautifully over time and enter into harmonious dialogue with their surroundings. The Fold includes illumination patterns that can be inserted under the glass to change the lighting effect. Rated... Read More

THE HUNT IS ON

THE HUNT IS ON

A total eclipse of the heart with this exterior wall light from Nordlux. It is obvious when light streams from the Hunt wall light that there are references here to both lunar and solar eclipses or endless starry nights. Designers Bjørn + Balle pair the square and the circle, playing with the interaction of light and shadow. Cast in metal, the light consists of a rectangular wall plate and a circular dome available in black, white and aluminium. From the meeting between the two geometric shapes, the light escapes and settles like a soft aura around the base plate. The... Read More
